Mothers Progress TV Poll Question 10:

Do you keep your children away from their father?

After a bad break up you can be left with a lot of anger and animosity. You may be filled with anger do to the reasons you broke up, the experience since become a single mothers/single woman with a child, or maybe even because you are still in love with him and he no longer wants to be with you.

Anger can cause you to make decisions that will negatively affect your child. Does your anger cause you to make decisions that keep your children away from their father? If so, this is something you must deeply think about and address. At times you may feel like it’s okay to say that your child/children is not allowed to visit the father due to an argument you guys shared. This neither good nor healthy for you, your child, the father, and even worse it’s not good for the relationship between your child/children.

Always keep in mind the relationship your child shares with your ex has nothing to do with you or your relationship. It is only acceptable if you are keeping the child safe from abuse.
