Do single mothers automatically get judged negatively by society? YES they do! When you hear the label “single mother” what comes to your mind? Are there many single mothers whom are bad mothers or contribute nothing positive to society? Of course there is! However, there are many single mothers who do their best and raise great children. Yet, when single mothers are discussed in the media or within society, mostly negative thoughts or comments are displayed.
Although some single mothers make horrible choices it is not all of them whom function in this manner. Yet for some reason automatically single mothers are judged in a negative automatically. There are many successful people whom have been raised by single mothers. Yet, unless the speak out about their journey you wouldn’t realize they came from a single parent home.
Were you raised by a single mother? Do you know a single mother? What do these women contribute to society? Are they good or bad mothers? We believe all children deserve both parents, however, not because you are a single mother means you automatically provide negativity to society today.
