Here at Single Mother’s In Progress, we believe that is is very important that we are accountable and transparent. Our accountability shows our obligation or willingness to explain our actions to our stakeholders. Our transparency shows our obligation or willingness to publish and make available critical data about our organization. We are dedicated to conducting our organization with integrity and to learn from our past mistakes. It is our duty to have the best practices in governance, donor relations, and related areas.

As a non-government funded organization we depend on the support of the local business and community members. It is imperative to us that we provide all information necessary for our sponsors to know exactly where the contribution goes and what it is used for. As we continue to grow we are dedicated to provided information to both assist the community to know how we allocate our money but to allow us to grow and build from previous evaluated experiences and budgets.

At Single Mothers in Progress we take pride in the allocation of funding. For the past 6 years we have not been government funded and have depended solely on the support of the community. We are proud to show what we have been able to do on minimal amounts of funding. We are proud to continue or services with the faith and determination guiding us to the support we need.

SMIP is now in the process of apply for grants in order to support or programs. Until then take a look to see how we have done to this date with minimal support. Your contribution brings us one step closer to providing new programs that provide the growth and assistance needed by our registered families.
