How do single mothers affect society?

Single mothers affect today’s society in a variety of ways. However, for some reason it is easier to hear all the negative things then to hear anything positive. There are both positive and negative aspects to everything in life. Although there are many reasons to say there is negative aspects about single mothers we must address both sides in order to truly understand a single mother and what they contribute or or don’t contribute to society. The saying “One bad apple can spoil the bunch” can be applied here in the way that all can be viewed by the wrongs of one.

At Single Mothers in Progress we are dedicated to building awareness of these lives, as well as to empower the mothers. In order to break the vicious cycle we provide programs and services to promote the mothers to do their best as well as to educate them in order to prevent future mistakes and promote success.
