How can you help?

As a non-government funded organization we are thankful for the contributions made by the community and the local businesses. There are many ways you can assist our organization to empower the single mothers and their children. In order to effectively and efficiently provide our programs and services to the world we rely on the support provided by the community.

Your gift to Single Mother’s In Progress will immediately go towards supporting recipients of our programs and services.

Your Contribution

Your contributions of food, in-kind items, services or time allows our organization to make a difference. Everything and anything is appreciated.

Some of the generous contributions Single Mother’s In Progress have received since 2009 include:

-Families being ‘adopted’

-over 20,000 lbs of food donations

\-35,000 lbs of clothing donations

-countless home appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators and freezers)

-over 1200 individuals have volunteered their time in the office, in the field and at our events

Monetary Donations

Monetary contributions can be given to assist in many ways. Your donation will assist our organization to give the support and assistance needed by our clients.

You can give an open or designated  donation. An open donation allows the organization to allocate the money to anything within the organization that is in need of the finances. Your designated donation is allocated to the program or service of your choice.

All friends of Single Mother’s In Progress who make monetary donations received over $20 will be issued a tax deductable receipt. All in-kind donations receive receipts upon request.
